422C MG Chemicals is a 1-part, acrylic-silicone blend conformal coating that cures to a durable, flexible and smooth finish. It is easy to apply and can be handled in only 10 minutes. It may be removed with appropriate strippers or soldered through for repair or rework.

422C MG Chemicals is designed for applications where both high service temperature and flexibility are required. It puts minimum stress on components during thermal cycling, making it ideal for  applications that involve a wide temperature range. It provides strong protection against moisture, corrosion, fungus, dirt, dust, thermal shock, short circuits, high-voltage arcing, and static discharge.

Silicone Conformal Coating  MG Chemicals 422C is a flexible finish product that provides a protective coating for printed circuit boards against moisture, corrosion, and thermal shock. It protects and insulates electrical and electronic components and assemblies, including generators, motors, transformers, relays, and solenoid coils. For spraying, liquid can be thinned using MG Chemicals Thinner Cleaner. Thin up to one half part thinner to one part coating.

MG Chemicals Silicone Conformal Coating is a clear, flexible coating ideal for protecting electronic circuits in higher temperature environments and applications requiring extreme flexibility.

This coating protects electric circuits against moisture, dirt, dust, and thermal shocks that could corrode, short circuit, or otherwise damage the electric components. It insulates against high-voltage arcing, shorts, static discharges, and allows traces to be put closer together helping with miniaturization. As well, it protects against thermal shock, and puts very little stress on components during temperature cycling.

Compared to typical silicones, this product is much easier to work with, and offers extended shelf life, a faster cure time, and it is easier to remove or rework.  It is available in both aerosol and liquid forms, and may be applied by spraying, dipping, or brushing.
